Extensive expertise.

We provide treatment for a wide variety of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, panic attacks, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorders, trauma, PTSD, and difficulties with alcohol or other substances. But we also work with clients without any formal diagnosis but who could use some help dealing with the challenges of life, work, school and relationships.

Adults and adolescents.

We generally work with adults and adolescents, aged 15 years old and above. Having said that, this range is not strictly fixed - everyone is unique and there are circumstances in which we may still be able to work with people outside of this age range. Give us a call so that we can discuss your circumstances.

Fast intake.

We endeavour to review referrals promptly and to arrange an appointment as soon as possible. Our priority is to minimise waiting times, ensuring you gain access to a skilled psychologist as quickly as possible. In many cases, this means you being able to attend your first appointment within a week. Please note that in the case of a crisis you should contact the mental health line (if in NSW) on 1800 011 511 or, if necessary, present at a hospital.

Skilled and empathic.

Our psychologists are trained at either masters or doctoral level and have significant experience working with a large variety of mental health difficulties. They have expert training in psychological science and the best and most current evidence-based treatments. They are also warm and highly empathic, selected for their genuine care for client outcomes.

  • We provide access to telehealth through our easy-to-use video conferencing platform. There’s no software to install, simply click on the appointment link at the time of your appointment. Some people prefer the convenience of telehealth for all of their appointments, but others prefer to alternate between in-person and telehealth appointments.

  • Town & Country Psychology offers discounted psychological services to people in rural NSW. We do this as a way of supporting Australians who, in many cases, have very limited access to mental health services. Services are generally offered by telehealth, but in-person appointments may be available in some areas.

If you are a GP within regional NSW who is interested in partnering with us in support of your community, please contact us to discuss how we might be able to collaborate in the care of your patients.

  • We strive to be highly responsive, with prompt intake and a focus on minimising time to first session.
